Clifford "Cliff" Histed is a former CFTC enforcement lawyer and federal prosecutor. As a prosecutor, he was involved in the first ever spoofing investigation.[1] The case was successfully prosecuted against Micheal Coscia, owner and manager of Panther Energy Trading.[2] Histed was also involved in the prosecution of Eric Bloom, former CEO of Sentinel Management Group, [3] and Steven Dombrowski, the former Audit Chief of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions Inc.[4] In addition to his work as a prosecutor, he formerly worked at BP America in its compliance and legal departments.[5].
