David Lester is the director of corporate strategy at the London Stock Exchange. He has been in the position since 2012 and with the LSE since 2001. Lester previously served as group director of information services at the LSE.
Lester was a director of software development at Primark Financial Corporation, which is now part of Thomson Reuters from 1996-2000. Before that he was a management consultant at Accenture from 1991-1996
Lester earned a degree in electronic and electrical engineering and business from Queen's University Belfast in 1989.
