Eric Litvack is a managing director and head of regulatory strategy for Société Générale’s global banking and investor solutions business.  On Dec. 1, 2014 he was appointed chairman of the board of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. (ISDA), effective Jan. 1, 2015. He succeeds Stephen O’Connor. 
Litvack has worked at Société Générale for nearly 29 years in a variety of roles, and has served on the ISDA board since 2006. He was appointed vice-chairman of the ISDA Board in 2012.
Litvack has also been a member of the Board of LCH.Clearnet SA since April 2013. 
Eric Litvack joined SocGen in 1986. He has been based in Paris since 1996, and before that he worked as a derivatives trader in the firm's London office. 
Before his current role at SocGen, he was chief operating officer for the equities and equity derivatives activities of the company's CIB global markets division. He has also held various trading and business management positions within SocGen's equity derivatives business.
Litvack earned a BA in Economics, Commerce and Political Science in 1985 from the University of Toronto.
