Esther L. George

George has been the bank’s chief operating officer since 2009. She had joined the Kansas City Fed as an assistant examiner in 1982 and has spent much of her time in bank supervision.
George received a business administration degree at Missouri Western State University. She also earned a masters in business administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and graduated from the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking and the Stanford University Executive Program.
