Eugene Kunda is a agricultural market oversight and surveillance specialist with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission in Chicago.
Formerly, he was the visiting assistant director and research associate with the Office for Futures and Options Research (OFOR) in the department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois. Kunda was a former senior economist at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT).
Prior to joining the University of Illinois faculty in November of 2007, Kunda worked at John Deere Agri Services in marketing development from 2006 to 2007. He also served as senior economist in business development at the CBOT for fourteen years - from 1990 to 2004.
