Mark Blundell is a capital and derivatives market professional. He is currently a director with The Global Markets Exchange Group in London.[1]

Background

Prior to joining GMEX, Blundell was the CEO of The Open Models Valuation Company, LLC, a valuation platform that brings quantitative analysts who model complex, illiquid securities, commercial loans, and blocks of life insurance with financial institutions who need objective external valuations of their asset portfolios.

He has been a consultant to various investment firms. He was also the CEO and finance director for Derivatives Vision, a start-up Internet television station focused on finance.

Blundell was a director of strategic business development with Tullett-Prebon Ltd. from 2004 to 2006. He was also the managing director of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange from 2002 to 2004.

He has also worked for Sabre Fund Management, Rabobank, Sakura Global Capital and Citibank.

He began his career as a forex trader for Bank of New England.

Education

Blundell hods a bachelor of arts from Williams College in political economy and Asian Area Studies. He also holds a masters of arts in international business and medial from Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
