Ng Kok Song is a Singapore-based financial services professional who was founding Chairman of the Singapore International Monetary Exchange (SIMEX), now incorporated into the Singapore Exchange.[1]

On March 12, 2009, Ng Kok Song was inducted into the Futures Hall of Fame, which was established in 2005 to commemorate outstanding contributions to the global futures and options community.[2]

Ng was a key member of the team that conceived and expanded the trading of gold futures to include financial futures at the Gold Exchange of Singapore. The Gold Exchange was renamed SIMEX, and Mr Ng became its first Chairman from 1984 to 1987. SIMEX subsequently merged with the Stock Exchange of Singapore in 1999 to form SGX[3].
