Peter Curley is the associate director for clearance and settlement for the SEC's division of trading and markets.[1]

Background

Curley joined the SEC in August 2010 as an attorney fellow in the same division. Prior to that, he was the executive vice president of corporate strategy at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited. Curley was also the senior vice president of IPO regulation there from 2003 to 2008.

Early in his career, he was a partner at the international law firm Allen & Overy for three years.[2]
