Peter Roberson
Peter Roberson is vice president of government relations for the InterContinental Exchange. He handles governmental issues in Washington for ICE.[1][2][3] BackgroundBefore becoming a lobbyist, Roberson was a senior adviser on the House Financial Services Committee. Representative Barney Frank, chairman of the Committee, said Roberson is barred from contacting his staff for as long as he leads the panel. Roberson dealt with banks and exchanges on behalf of Frank as new swaps regulations were created last year. Before being hired by the committee in 2007, Roberson worked for the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association. Roberson was a policy director of The Bond Market Association, a predecessor to SIFMA. He was also a consultant with NextFinance and senior reporter with Institutional Investor Newsletters. EducationRoberson holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science from University of California, Riverside. He also attended The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School. References
