Thomas Jordan is president and CEO of Jordan & Jordan, a market data, management consulting, and information technology services firm that specializes in the financial services and securities industry. The company Web site indicates that he founded Jordan & Jordan in 1990 with the aim of offering solutions that meet the business needs of the securities industry through the efficient use of technology.
Jordan is also the advisory chair of the Financial Information Forum, a SIFMA Market Data Committee member, an RTTM Advisory Committee member and sits on the WSTA Content Committee. He is also on the board of regents for Saint Peter's College.
From 1985-1990, he was the managing director of Knight-Ridder Financial/Americas. Prior to that, he was the chairman of Monchik-Weber, a Wall Street consulting and product development firm. He also held development and marketing positions at IBM.
He holds a BS degree in Mathematics from Saint Peter's College and a MS in Industrial Administration from Union College in Schenectady, NY.
