Thomas R. Kadlec is president of ADM Investor Services (ADMIS), a subsidiary of Archer Daniels Midland. He rose to the position in March 2010, succeeding Richard Dodson.[1]

Before taking the president's position, Kadlec served as chief financial officer and controller of ADMIS since 1990. He also serves on the management boards of ADMIS and ADMIS International Ltd.

In November 2014, Kadlec was elected to the board of the Futures Industry Association.[2]

Background

Kadlec joined ADM Investor Services in 1990 as division controller in charge of accounting, treasury and risk. He later became chief financial officer and then in 2007 he was promoted to senior vice president with the additional responsibilities of the IT and marketing departments. He was named president in 2010. [3]

He has been a member of Archer Daniels Midland Company’s Integrated Risk Committee since 2008. He also serves on the CME Group’s Clearing House Committee.

He started his career as an auditor at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in 1981 and held senior-level financial positions at two other trading and investment firms prior to joining ADMIS.

Education

Kadlec holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa.
