Tom Hudson is a special correspondent for National Public Radio affiliate WLRN-FM in Miami, Florida.

Previously, he was the co-anchor of the nationally syndicated PBS program, the Nightly Business Report. Hudson, who joined co-anchor Susie Gharib in December of 2009, replaced the anchor Paul Kangas.[1]

On July 17, 2012, Hudson's Nightly Business Report featured John J. Lothian in a segment about aftermath of the collapse of the FCM PFGBest.[2]

Background

Previously, Hudson co-anchored the Chicago-based First Business program.[3]. Prior to First Business, he was an anchor on WebFN.com, a news anchor at WMAQ Radio in Chicago and news director at the Quad Cities Radio Group in Davenport, IA.

Education

Hudson received a BA with honors in Journalism from the University of Iowa in 1993.[4] He serves as an adjunct faculty member at Columbia College Chicago and as a guest lecturer at the University of Illinois.
