Kenny Polcari is the managing principal for Butcher Joseph Asset Management.
Formerly, he was director of equities at O'Neil Securities, a New York-based broker-dealer affiliated with William O'Neil + Co., a registered investment advisor. He joined O'Neil in 2013 as the firm's director of floor operations at the New York Stock Exchange and left in late 2018. 
He also serves as a market analyst and contributing editor on CNBC, where he regularly appears on news shows such as Power Lunch, Half Time Report, The Closing Bell and The Kudlow Report.
Polcari became a member of the New York Stock Exchange in 1985, and over the years served a number of brokerage roles in the financial sector, including nearly three years at Salomon Brothers in the mid-1990s. He then spent 14 years at inter-dealer broker ICAP, eventually serving as a managing director, until his departure in 2012.
In addition to his media role with CNBC, he also spent time as a market commentator for Bloomberg.
In 1983, Polcari earned as BS/BA degree with a concentration in finance from Boston University.
