Kristin Boggiano is the chief legal officer at AlphaPoint, a blockchain company focused on enabling institutions to launch, scale, and operate digital asset networks and exchanges. In this role, she will oversee the company’s legal, regulatory, and government relations functions.
Boggiano was previously a managing director with Guggenheim Partners, where she provided legal advice related to its investment management business.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry and writes frequently about private fund-related topics. She is also a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars. She is a founder, chair of the board and the president of Women in Derivatives (WIND), a non-profit whose mission is to develop women leaders in the financial industry. 
Before working at Guggenheim, she was a special counsel at Schulte Roth & Zabel, where she structured private funds and negotiated structured transactions, including credit and equity based products, CLNs, CLOs, CDOs, derivatives related to ABS and RMBS and derivatives on private funds.
Before joining Schulte Roth & Zabel, Boggiano was an associate on the derivatives desk at Merrill Lynch.
Boggiano earned a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, an M.B.A. from Northeastern University Graduate School of Business, and a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College.
