Robert Goldberg is a banker, former futures brokerage executive, floor trader a who was a founder of Burling Bank and co-founder of Goldberg Brothers, a leading CBOT clearing firm sold to LIT Holdings in 1988, which became part of LIT America.[1][2][3]

He is a board member of Burling Bank in Chicago.[4]

Goldberg was a member of the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) Since 1963 and served as its chairman in 1985. From 1968 to 1988, he was owner/partner of Goldberg Brothers and Goldberg Securities with offices located in Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Philadelphia. He has also been a member of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). He founded Goldberg Brothers Commodities Inc., along with his brother David Goldberg.[6]

He has served on the boards of DePaul University, LINK Unlimited, the LaSalle Club, Notre Dame High School for Boys and Woodlands Academy and currently serves as a Life Trustee of DePaul University.

From 1992 to 2002, he was a high school girls' basketball coach, twice honored as Chicago Class A Coach of the Year.[7]
