Scott A. Brusso is director, foreign exchange sales at Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). Brusso joined ICE in July 2012.

Background

Prior to joining ICE, Brusso was director of foreign exchange (FX) for the CME Group, where he spent 19 years in FX sales for the exchange. He was appointed to the director's post in July of 2007 following the CMEs merger with the Chicago Board of Trade, and left in February 2012.

At CME, Brusso was responsible for helping execute CME Group’s foreign exchange (FX) marketing strategy, as well as supervising the day-to-day sales efforts of CME’s FX marketing team.[1]

Brusso joined CME in 1993 as a director of currency product marketing. He was named senior director, currency product marketing in 1997 before being appointed to the director's position.

Before joining CME Group, Brusso operated his own marketing consulting business from 1992 to 1993. He traded FX products for FX Asset Management from 1992 to 1993, Roemer Weather Inc. from 1990 to 1992 and Banco di Roma from 1988 to 1990.

He attended Oakton Community College in Des Plaines, Illinois.
